Tea Parties

A classic tea party is a theme that works for both adults and children.  Who doesn’t love scones, petit fours, fruit tarts, and cucumber sandwiches?  In Sacramento, you can rent everything from tea cup sets to dessert stands to elegant tables so your tea party will be complete.  You can also find plenty of local caterers who will work with you to create the perfect menu!

If you’re hosting a tea party for a child, you could easily incorporate “Alice in Wonderland” as part of your theme.  It would be fun to offer cups or edible party favors with “Drink me” written on them for guests to take home.  Why not have children dress up as some of the characters with bunny ears or large top hats?

A tea party for adults might include champagne or a light white wine in addition to tea to drink.  Tea parties can be held either inside or out when weather permits.  They are perfect outdoors, especially when surrounded by a beautiful garden or flowers!
